I have a few Lassanai pieces and I love them all, but the Rose Quartz studs are definitely the most worn of my collection. They are my go-to for travel and everyday, and when I have the occasion to dress it up a bit, I’ll add a pair of statement earrings to my secondary piercings. I used to wear simple sterling or gold ball-studs, but these definitely have more of a vibe and I’ve received many compliments on them. Completely hypoallergenic, too. LASSANAI was conceived in the wake of magical adventure. During her time residing in Sri Lanka as a resort manageress, Australian founder and designer, Julia became mesmerized by Sri Lanka’s gemstones in their natural, unfaceted form. Keen to remain creatively connected to this incredible place she called home, Julia established ties with a respected local metalsmith to bring her raw stone creations to the Western world.
Now residing in New York City, Julia designs pieces that honor the natural beauty of raw gemstones, which are still made by artisan hand in an ethically aligned Sri Lanka studio, then shipped to New York to be worn with intention.
